At the Paramount Theatre, the annual gala is a major fundraising event supporting both the historic preservation of Austin’s oldest theatre and educational programs for children. Each year, I was responsible for creating a cohesive visual experience that reflected the event’s theme and headliners, collaborating closely with the development and decor teams to execute branding, print and digital graphics, signage, and experiential elements. For example, this year’s event transformed Congress Avenue into a New Orleans-inspired celebration featuring Trombone Shorty and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. One of my most impactful contributions was designing the Live Auction slideshow, a centerpiece of the evening that helped generate approximately half of the gala’s total proceeds.
